Sweldo Guide

How Sweldo Works

Sweldo is Mimasaur's HR and payroll module for Filipino small businesses. It handles attendance tracking via a PIN or NFC kiosk, manages leave requests, records cash advances (vale), and computes DOLE-compliant payroll including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR TRAIN Law withholding tax โ€” all the way to a printed payslip PDF.

1 Setup & Configuration

Start by logging into the Sweldo admin panel and adding your employees. Each employee gets a name, role, pay rate, and a 6-digit PIN for the kiosk. You can also set up their work schedules โ€” the system uses these to detect late arrivals, overtime, and rest days automatically.

2 The Clock-In Kiosk

The kiosk is a web page you open on a shared device โ€” a tablet or phone โ€” on your counter or workspace. Employees tap their name and enter their PIN to clock in or out. The system records the exact time, computes how many minutes late they are, and flags anything unusual for your review.

3 Attendance Management

The Attendance tab is where you review what the kiosk captured. You can see who's clocked in right now, check the full log for any date range, correct wrong times, and approve or reject flagged entries.

4 Leave Management

The Leave tab shows all pending leave requests from your employees. You approve or reject each one, and the system automatically updates their leave balance. Approved leave days count as paid days in payroll.

5 Vale (Cash Advance)

The Vale tab lets you record cash advances given to employees. Each vale has a per-cutoff deduction amount that automatically reduces net pay every payroll run until the balance is paid off.

6 Running Payroll

The Payroll tab is the heart of Sweldo. Select the month and cutoff period, click Generate, and the system reads every time log, approved OT, leave, and deduction to compute each employee's net pay. You can edit lines before releasing, then print payslips as PDFs.

7 Staff Self-Service

Each employee can access their own HR page โ€” a read-only portal where they see their shift history, leave balances, submitted requests, and past payslips.
