Mimasaur provides tools for Filipino online sellers: Tagasulat (capturing buyer pins from a TikTok Live and printing labels) and Sweldo (employee attendance and payroll). For questions about this Policy or your data, contact us at tagasulat.app@gmail.com.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account | Store name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form), role, plan. |
| Live-selling data | TikTok usernames, nicknames, and comments/"pins" captured from your own live session; your buyer lists, blacklist, joy-miner and returning-buyer records; order and label history. |
| Payment data | Subscription status and a payment reference. Card and e-wallet details are collected and processed by PayMongo; we do not receive or store your card numbers. |
| Sweldo (HR/Payroll) data | If you use Sweldo: employee names, PINs, government IDs (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, TIN), pay rates, attendance, leave, and payslips. This is sensitive personal information (see Section 7). |
| Packing records | If you use Scan to Pack: the order number, the buyer's username/nickname, what the parcel contained, and which employee scanned it and when (so packing can be traced back if a parcel is disputed). |
| Website analytics | Anonymous page-view counts on our public pages — page visited, referring site, and a randomly generated visitor ID stored in your browser. No cookies, no names, and not linked to your account. Used only to see which pages and campaigns bring people to Mimasaur. |
| Technical | Device/browser type, error logs, and IP address (used for the cloud pin-listener and for security/abuse prevention). |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We process your data on the bases allowed under RA 10173: your consent; the performance of our contract with you (providing the service you subscribed to); our legitimate interests (security, service improvement) balanced against your rights; and compliance with law.
We share data only with the service providers ("processors") needed to run Mimasaur, and only as required to deliver the service:
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance; the live data you capture comes from your own TikTok session.
Community Watch is off by default. A seller must switch it on in their store settings, and can switch it off again at any time.
When a seller opts in, other Mimasaur sellers can see, for a flagged buyer:
| Shared | Never shared |
|---|---|
| TikTok username and display nickname; a fixed category (e.g. "Did not pay", "Refused delivery"); the date; and how many stores have flagged the same username. | The seller's own notes or wording, shipping addresses, order details, amounts, and which store added the flag. |
Sellers can only choose from a fixed list of reasons — they cannot publish free-text comments about a buyer. Shared entries stop being shared after 12 months.
Community Watch is intended as a factual record of transactions (for example, an order that was never paid for), not as commentary about a person. If you believe you have been flagged in error, email tagasulat.app@gmail.com with the TikTok username concerned. We will review it, and we can remove or suppress an entry. You may also ask us what has been recorded about you.
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to comply with law (e.g. payment/tax records) or resolve disputes.
When you use Sweldo to manage employees, you (the employer/store) are the data controller for your employees' personal information, and Mimasaur acts as your data processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process your employees' data (including their sensitive government IDs and salary details) and for informing them. We process that data only to provide the Sweldo features you use, and we protect it as described in this Policy.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls so each store only sees its own data, and restricted access to production systems. Payment credentials are handled by PayMongo, not by us. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act and the guidance of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to access and obtain a copy of your data, to correct inaccurate data, to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing, to have your data erased or blocked where appropriate, to data portability, and to be indemnified for damages. To exercise any of these, email tagasulat.app@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
Mimasaur is a business tool intended for users 18 and older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
