Pins Not Showing Up in Tagasulat Basic+

Follow these steps in order. Most issues are resolved by Step 2.

1

Check the status indicator. Look for the small colored dot next to the TikTok icon in the top bar of the app.

  • Green — connected and listening. If pins still aren't coming in, the problem is on TikTok's side. Skip to Step 4.
  • Yellow — connecting. Wait 10–15 seconds. If it stays yellow, continue to Step 2.
  • Grey — not connected. Continue to Step 2.
2

Check your host username.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Find TikTok Host Username
  3. Make sure it matches the TikTok account hosting the live — no spaces, no extra characters
  4. It should look like: cllnswimwear (no @ symbol)
  5. Save settings and wait a few seconds for the dot to turn green
Settings panel showing the TikTok Host Username field
3

Restart the app. If the dot won't turn green after checking the username:

  1. Close Tagasulat completely
  2. Wait 5 seconds
  3. Open it again

The app reconnects automatically on startup. This resolves most connection drops that happen mid-live.

4

The host is live but pins still aren't coming in. TikTok occasionally requires an extra login step to verify the connection. You'll need to provide a Session ID.

  1. Open Google Chrome on the same computer
  2. Go to tiktok.com and make sure you're logged in as the host account
  3. Press F12 to open Developer Tools
  4. Go to Application → Cookies → https://www.tiktok.com
  5. Find the cookie named sessionid and copy its value
  6. In Tagasulat, open Settings → TikTok Session ID and paste it there
  7. Save and wait for the dot to turn green
⚠️
The session ID changes when you log out of TikTok. If pins stop working after you've logged in and out of TikTok, repeat Step 4.
5

Still not working. Send a log to support so we can investigate.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Send log to support
  3. Wait for the confirmation message

We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Other issues

Pins are coming in but the wrong buyer appears

This usually means the pin comment was read incorrectly. Check that:

  • The buyer's TikTok username is saved correctly in your buyers list (no typos)
  • The buyer's comment at the time of pinning matched their username exactly

If a buyer was missed entirely, you can add them manually using the Manual Add button during the session.

The app was working earlier and stopped mid-live

Go straight to Step 3 (restart). TikTok connections occasionally drop during long live sessions. Restarting takes under 30 seconds and is always safe — your session data is saved automatically.
